WINSTON-SALEM – An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will permanently close portions of three roads in Forsyth County next week as part of the Winston-Salem Northern Beltway project.
Beginning May 23, a small portion of Orvil Lane, Garden View Drive, and Oakridge Place Drive will be closed at their intersections with Oak Grove Church Road. Going forward, motorists will use Motsinger Drive for their travels, rather than Oak Grove Church Road.
These closures are required to relocate the portion of Oak Grove Church Road located south of Orvil Lane to the east, making room for the proposed beltway construction through this area.
Motorists are reminded to remain alert and plan accordingly for delays when using alternate routes and new traffic patterns.
