WINSTON SALEM- N.C. Department of Transportation crews will close Skylark Road near Millstone Road on Tuesday morning, Aug 8, weather permitting.
The closure is needed so crews can safely replace a stormwater pipe under the roadway. The work is anticipated to last through Friday, Aug. 11
During the closure, a posted detour will take drivers from Skylark Road to Kecoughtan Road to Yadkinville Road to Transou Road then returning onto Skylark Road.
Drivers are encouraged to stay alert and use caution when nearing the work zone and following the detours.
