WINSTON SALEM –An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will implement overnight lane closures tonight on Interstate 40 in Forsyth County for an ongoing rehabilitation and bridge preservation project, weather permitting.
The following closures will take place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:
- Two of three lanes will close on I-40 east from mile marker 189 to 190 just east of Stratford Road.
- One of two lane will close on I-40 west from mile marker 202 to 201 just east of Union Cross Road
Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zones and plan accordingly for delays.
