WINSTON SALEM – N.C. Department of Transportation crews will temporarily implement lane closures in both directions on U.S. 421 in Forsyth County for bridge repairs.
Starting at 9 a.m. Dec. 4, the left lane on U.S 421 south and the right lane on U.S. 421 north will close for crews to safely conduct bridge work on the N.C. 158 South Stratford Road bridge. All lanes are expected to reopen by 3 p.m. the same day.
Drivers should plan for this construction, and while in the work zone, remain alert and obey all posted traffic signs.
