GREENSBORO- North Carolina Department of Transportation crews will implement overnight lane and ramp closures along Interstate 40 and Randleman Road three nights next week to complete tree removal operations, weather permitting.
The following closures will take place from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. the following morning:
- Tuesday, one of three lanes will close on I-40 West near mile marker 220.
- Thursday, one of three lanes will close on I-40 west near mile marker 220.
The following closures will take place from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. the following morning.
- Wednesday, one of three lanes will close on I-40 East from mile marker 219 to 220 between U.S 29 and S. Elm Eugene Street
- Wednesday, the exit ramp at mile marker 220 on I-40 East will be closed with a detour.
- Thursday, the ramp to U.S. 29 South will be closed with a detour.
Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zones and plan accordingly for delays.
