MORRISVILLE – Two ramps connecting Interstate 40 to Airport Boulevard will close, weather permitting, for two nights this week so crews can hang overhead sign structures.
The ramp from I-40 East to Airport Boulevard will close Wednesday at 8 p.m., reopening Thursday morning at 5.
The ramp from I-40 West to Airport Boulevard will close Thursday at 8 p.m., reopening Friday morning at 5.
Traffic will need to detour to Aviation Parkway or McCrimmon Parkway and Aviation Boulevard to the south on Wednesday night with the I-40 East ramp closure. For the I-40 West ramp closure on Thursday, traffic will continue to the I-540 interchange and take I-40 East back to Airport Boulevard.
