WINSTON SALEM – N.C. Department of Transportation crews will temporarily a Forsyth County Road for a pipe replacement next week, weather permitting.
Starting on Monday morning, the right lane of Cherry Street between West 6th Street and 7th street West will close. The closure is expected to last at least two weeks, remaining in place for the duration of the project and is necessary for crews to replace a storm pipe under the roadway.
Drivers are advised to exercise caution when traveling through the area and to follow all posted signs and detours.
