WINSTON SALEM – Starting this week, crews will begin placing foundations and overhead signs for the Winston-Salem Northern Beltway along eastbound Interstate 40.
Work will take place from March 12 to March 19, excluding the weekend, with the right lane closed from N.C. 109 to the I-74 eastbound exit, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This lane closure is necessary for the installation of new foundations for overhead signs.
Motorists are encouraged to plan accordingly, use caution in the work zones, and follow all traffic control measures.
