RALEIGH – Contractors for the N.C. Department of Transportation will close the intersection of Mial Plantation Road and Major Slade Road as part of the ongoing work to realign the intersection.
Weather permitting, the closure will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, and will last until the morning of June 17.
During this time, traffic will be detoured via Carl Williamson Road, Grasshopper Road, and Smithfield Road. Detour signs will be posted to help guide drivers around the closure.
Motorists are advised to use caution and stay alert to construction crews working in the area.
