FORSYTH
COUNTY – N.C. Department of Transportation maintenance crews will temporarily close the on-ramp from Clemmonsville Road to U.S. 52 Northbound (RMP-3311) beginning Tuesday, July 22 at 8 a.m. The right lane of U.S. 52 Northbound will also be closed between mile markers 105 and 106.
The closure is necessary to allow crews to replace a concrete slab in the roadway. A signed detour will be in place to guide drivers around the work zone. The lane and ramp are scheduled to reopen by 5:30 a.m., July 23.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time and use alternate routes if possible.
All work is weather permitting and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement conditions.
