MONROE – A section of East Lawyers Road will close on Monday for N.C. Department of Transportation contractors to replace a culvert at Bull Branch.
A $764,306 million contract was recently earned by Eastern Structures LLC of Mocksville to deliver the project. Crews will close East Lawyers Road between McIntyre Road and Olive Branch Road to safely replace the culvert by summer 2026. Grading, drainage and paving activities also fall under the contract.
When the road closure occurs, drivers will be detoured along McIntyre Road and Olive Branch Road, returning to East Lawyers Road.
