GREENSBORO – A contractor for the N.C. Department of Transportation will close Rehobeth Church Road this weekend to allow for bridge construction, weather permitting.
The temporary road closure will begin at 7 p.m. on Oct. 17 and is scheduled to reopen by 9 p.m. on Oct. 19. Drivers will be detoured via W Vandalia Rd to Creek Ridge Rd, and reverse order depending on the direction of travel.
During the same time frame, the on-ramps from U.S. 29 North and South onto Rehobeth Church Road will also be closed. Signs will be in place directing traffic to use the following detours:
Motorists should use caution when traveling through the detour and be alert to construction crews working in the area.
