BURLINGTON – N.C. Department of Transportation maintenance
crews must close a
small portion of Isley School Road just north of Burlington in Alamance
County, while workers replace a deteriorating pipe underneath the
roadway.
Crews will close the road at 7 a.m. on Monday, April 30. It is
scheduled to reopen at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 4, weather
permitting.
Motorists traveling through the area will be detoured around
the construction using Greenwood Drive and Snug Harbor
Road.
Transportation officials advise drivers to watch signs for
construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
