Improvements to Future I-73/U.S. 311

​​​​​​​​​​The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes improvements to future I-73/U.S. 220 at the U.S. 311 and N.C. 135 interchange in Mayodan, Rockingham County. The proposed project would replace Bridge No. 780074 and upgrade the interchange to accommodate future I-73 improvements.

A public meeting is scheduled for:

Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019
4-6 p.m.
Madison-Mayodan Recreation Center
300 S. Second Ave.
Mayodan

The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the project and gather input on the proposed design.

 
The public may attend at any time during the public meeting hours, as no formal presentation will be made.

Public Comment

NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and receive comments. The comments and information received will be taken into consideration as work on the project develops.

 
The opportunity to submit written comments will be provided at the meeting or can be submitted by March 7, 2019, via phone, email or mail.
