The N.C. Department of Transportation will hold a combined open-house public meeting and a hybrid public hearing for the proposed
Capital Boulevard North Upgrade (Raleigh to Wake Forest) improvements from Interstate 540 in Raleigh to Harris/Purnell roads in Wake Forest.
The hybrid public hearing will include an explanation of the recommended alternatives, land acquisition, relocation requirements and other related procedures. Residents will have the opportunity to comment. This public hearing will be streamed live, recorded and a written transcript will be prepared.

If unable to attend the public hearing in person, it will be streamed live beginning at 7 p.m. Registration is required and each registrant will receive a confirmation email containing instructions to join the virtual meeting. Comments will not be accepted through the webinar platform.

The purpose of this public meeting and public hearing is to inform the public of the proposed project and gather input on the proposed design. The public can view project information, submit comments and receive email updates at
NCDOT's public input portal.
NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and receive comments. The comments and information received will be taken into consideration as work on the project develops.
The opportunity to submit written comments will be provided at the meeting or can be submitted via phone, email or at NCDOT's public input portal by
July 7, 2023.
