The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes to improve the intersection of N.C. 16 and Optimist Club Road along with improving bicycle and pedestrian accommodations in Lincoln County.
The project proposes to upgrade the intersection to an interchange, add a multi-use path to both sides of Optimist Club Road and add bicycle lanes on the east side of Forney Creek Parkway.

The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the proposed project and gather input on the proposed design. The public can view project information, submit comments and receive email updates at
NCDOT's public input portal.
Public Comment
NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and receive comments. The comments and information received will be taken into consideration as work on the project develops.
