U.S. 74 at Camden Street Reduced Conflict Intersection

The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes to upgrade the intersection of U.S. 74 and Camden Street to a reduced conflict intersection in Anson County. The purpose of the project is to improve safety at the intersection.

Construction is anticipated to begin summer 2021 and will last approximately 60 days.​

Due to COVID-19, NCDOT will not host an in-person public meeting for this project. However, the public is invited to review the project​ map and submit comments.

The NCDOT has developed a pu​blic input portal​ to provide the following:

  • Project map

  • Reduced-Conflict Intersection video​

  • Public comment

Public Comment

​The public can view the project materials and leave comments by accessing the public input website. There will not be a formal comment period.​
