Proposed work to widen Johnson Street and Sandy Ridge Road would:
- Widen existing Johnson Street and Sandy Ridge Road from two lanes to a four-lane median-divided roadway from Skeet Club Road to I-40.
- Build four-foot striped bike lanes on each side.
- Build a 10-foot multiuse path on the west side and a 5-foot sidewalk on the east side.
- Include intersection improvements for increased sight distance and improved safety.
