Anthony “Beau” Waddell joined the N.C. Board of Transportation in September 2026 and serves as an at-large member.
Waddell is the owner of J.H. Reaben Oil & Supply Company, a fourth-generation oil and convenience store company based in Hendersonville. He is the current Chairman of the Henderson County Transportation Advisory Committee and the Henderson County Partnership for Economic Development.
He previously served as the President of the North Carolina Petroleum & Convenience Store Marketers Association (NCPCM).
A native of Hendersonville, Waddell received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Wake Forest University.
He and his wife, Suzanna, live in Laurel Park, and have two sons.
