SALISBURY — N.C. Department of Transportation maintenance crews will close the northbound I-85 ramp (Exit 68) onto N.C. 152 for construction of a new ramp for continued work along the I-85 widening project.
Crews will close the road at 9 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 5. Weather permitting; it will reopen no later than 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 15.
Drivers will be able to detour using Webb Road and U.S. 29.
Transportation officials advise drivers to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
