THOMASVILLE – N.C. Department of Transportation contract crews will close the N.C. 109 ramp onto I-85 southbound tonight for pavement rehabilitation work in order to repair small cracks in the concrete slabs in Thomasville.
Crews will close the ramp at 8 p.m. Aug. 6. Weather permitting, it will reopen no later than 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7.
Drivers will be able to detour using Finch Farm Road.
Transportation officials advise drivers to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
