Closure needed near Monroe Expressway
CHARLOTTE – A section of U.S. 74 eastbound in Stallings will close for a 30-minute period on Sunday night.
The N.C. Department of Transportation will be shifting traffic on Sunday, Aug. 18, impacting eastbound traffic on U.S. 74 between I-485 and Indian Trail Fairview Road.
Once traffic control measures are in place, crews will close the road so they can take 30 minutes to paint new lines on the Monroe Bypass where it connects to U.S. 74.
