LUMBERTON – An N.C. Department of Transportation open house scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 11, in Robeson County is postponed as residents, local and state officials prepare for Hurricane Florence. The department will reschedule the meeting this fall.
The meeting, about a proposal to widen Fayetteville Road and install a raised median between Farringdom Street and East 22nd Street downtown, was to be held house from 5- 7 p.m. at the Bill Sapp Recreation Center in Lumberton.
