MOUNT PLEASANT– The N.C. Department of Transportation will be closing a section of Little Bear Creek Road north of Mount Pleasant at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, weather permitting.
The closure is necessary for contract crews to replace a pipe under the roadway. The road is scheduled to reopen Nov. 3.
During the closure, a marked detour will take motorists from Little Bear Creek Road to Dutch Road and Lentz Harness Road, returning to Little Bear Creek Road.
