STALLINGS – Contract crews working on the Monroe Expressway project will temporarily close one lane on U.S. 74 West near the intersection with Indian Trail – Fairview Road at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, weather permitting.
The closure is needed to safely mill up pavement used for a temporary detour. The milling will be taking place near existing traffic, so the closure will provide safety for both workers and motorists. Work should wrap up by 2 p.m.
