WINTERVILLE – A section of N.C. 11 in Pitt County will be closed to traffic Friday night, Oct. 5, while an N.C. Department of Transportation contractor installs a storm drain pipe.
The new pipe will be installed overnight under both lanes of N.C. 11, about one-half mile south of N.C. 903 near Winterville. The road will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6.
N.C. 11 drivers should use N.C. 903 and Reedy Branch Road as a detour.
