MINT HILL – Construction of a new roundabout in Mint Hill requires contract crews to temporarily close Bain School Road at Lawyers Road from 7 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, until 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, weather permitting. The work is part of a $1.6 million project awarded by the N.C. Department of Transportation to All American Contracting LLC of Monroe.
During the closure, crews will connect the roundabout into existing Bain School Road.
Westbound traffic on Lawyers Road will be detoured to Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Fairview Road and Philadelphia Church Road. Drivers will be able to access Bain School Road from Philadelphia Church Road.
