More NCDMV Offices to Offer Extended Hours

RALEIGH – Starting Monday, the N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays at an additional 11 driver license offices as part of the ongoing effort to improve service and reduce wait times for customers.

That brings to 25 the number of driver license offices statewide that will have added an extra operating hour on weekdays.

The 25 offices are among the busiest driver license offices in North Carolina.

To accommodate more customers, the following 11 offices will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday starting Oct. 8:

The extra hours announced Friday are part of a series of improvements NCDMV officials have been making to reduce customer wait times and improve service. NCDMV has also deployed additional staff at busy offices, established dedicated road test teams, created express lines for customers with quick transactions, and started having staff speak with customers in line to ensure they have the correct paperwork.
