RALEIGH — Families can celebrate the holidays by getting on board NC By Train’s popular Raleigh Santa Train on Saturday, Dec. 8. For one day only, come make some memories on this fun-filled trip featuring Mrs. Claus, refreshments and Santa Claus himself!
To ride the Santa Train, book your round-trip ticket on Train #75 to Greensboro (GRO), returning on Train #74.
Tickets are limited and sell out very quickly, so book now to reserve your seats! Passengers can board the Raleigh Santa Train at any of these stops: Raleigh Union Station (departs at 10 a.m.); Cary (10:12 a.m.); Durham (10:32 a.m.) and Burlington (11:08 a.m.).
This year, Charlotte’s Santa Train is not available. For those looking for an alternative, NC By Train suggests the N.C. Transportation Museum’s Polar Express. Set to the music of the popular motion picture, families will enjoy hot chocolate and cookies served on board the Polar Express trains. Tickets are selling out fast.
