NCDOT-Maintained Website Outages Scheduled

​RALEIGH – N.C. Department of Transportation websites and online services will be temporarily offline on Sunday, Nov. 4 and Sunday, Nov. 11 as the department’s IT staff replaces aging back-up equipment used to keep its web servers and equipment operating in case of power failures.

The outages are scheduled from 4 a.m. to noon on Nov. 4 and midnight to noon on Nov. 11.

Affected websites and services include:

• NCDOT.gov (including online ferry reservations)
• MyNCDMV.gov (including all online services)
• NCQuickPass.com
• NCbyTrain.org
• Business40NC.com
• ClickItorTicket.org
• NCGTP.com

DriveNC.gov, NCDOT’s real-time traveler information management system, will be unaffected.

Users can still:

• Pay their toll bill at MyNCQuickPass.com.
• Book train tickets at Amtrak.com.
• Make ferry reservations by calling 1-800-BY-FERRY.
