Intersection Closure in Greenville in Place Until Mid-December

GREENVILLE – The intersection of Evans Street and 10th Street in Greenville is closed through Friday, Dec. 14. The closure will allow crews to safely install three brick crosswalks at the intersection, two on Evans Street and one on 10th Street. The work is part of the 10th Street Connector Project.

Although the schedule calls for the intersection to open by December 14, the length of the closure could be shorter or longer, depending on the weather.

The detour in place uses Reade Circle, Cotanche Street, Charles Boulevard and 14th Street to get to Evans Street.

Drivers are urged to slow down and use caution when approaching the closure. They should anticipate needing extra time for traveling through the area because of the detour.
