WINSTON-SALEM – Work to replace an 83-year-old bridge on Lasater Road over Blanket Creek near Clemmons is getting under way.
Since the new structure will be built alongside the current bridge, no detour route will be required. The project will also include a slight re-alignment of Lasater Road to access the new bridge on both sides.
Work on the project is expected to last until November 2020.
Although traffic impacts are expected to be minimal, drivers are urged to pay extra attention when approaching the work zone.
