GASTONIA – N.C. Department of Transportation crews next week will temporarily close a bridge on Linwood Road over Blackwood Creek in Gastonia for maintenance work.
The closure will start at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, staying in place through Friday afternoon, Jan. 18, allowing workers to perform bridge deck repairs.
A detour will be in place along Linwood Road, Myrtle School Road, U.S. 74 and Garrison Boulevard, returning to Linwood Road.
