GREENSBORO – The N.C. Department of Transportation will close three lanes of Interstate 73 North on Sunday so contract crews can modify pavement markings to match recently-installed overhead signs.
The work will take place from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on I-73 between Wendover Avenue and the I-40 interchange.
The new traffic pattern will dedicate three lanes for I-73 North and the other two lanes for accessing I-40 West.
Drivers are urged to slow down and use caution throughout the work zone.
