DENTON – Part of a Davidson County road will close early next week so crews can replace a pipe damaged during Hurricane Florence.
The N.C. Department of Transportation will close a portion of Cedar Springs Road near Denton at 7 a.m. Monday. The closure is expected to remain in effect until the afternoon of Feb. 8.
A signed detour will be in place, following N.C. 109, and Garner and Crousetown roads.
Drivers are encouraged to use caution around the work zone and anticipate the possibly of traffic delays along the detour route.
