ROCKY POINT – The N.C. Department of Transportation will close a section of a Pender County road west of Rocky Point for maintenance work this week.
Crews will remove an existing crossline pipe that has failed and replace it with a new pipe on N.C. 210 near Balcombe Road.
N.C. 210 will close Jan. 16 at 8 a.m. and is expected to open Jan. 18 at 5 p.m. Traffic will be detoured onto N.C. 133 and Cheshire Road. Drivers should use extra caution approaching the closure and anticipate needing extra time to travel through the area.
