ROCKWELL – The N.C. Department of Transportation will close part of a Rowan County road next week in order to replace a storm drain culvert.
A portion of Emanuel Church Road will be closed about a half-mile north of Old Beatty Ford Road from 7:30 a.m. Monday until 5 p.m. Friday.
A signed detour will use Old Beatty Ford, Gin and Eller roads.
Drivers need to pay extra attention near the work zone and anticipate possibly needing extra time for traveling through the area.
