MOCKSVILLE – Part of a Davie County road will close early next week for maintenance work that is expected to last nearly a month.
The N.C. Department of Transportation will close a portion of Woodward Road between Cana and Angell roads at 7 a.m. on Monday to begin replacing a culvert under the road. The closure is expected to last until the afternoon of March 1.
A signed detour will be in place following Cana, Main Church and South Angell roads.
Drivers should anticipate the possibly of delays while using the detour.
