NCDOT Seeks Public Input on Proposed Improvements to Guilford County Intersection

GREENSBORO – The N.C. Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting this week regarding proposed improvements to the intersection of Air Harbor and Lake Brandt roads in Guilford County.

The project, proposed by the City of Greensboro in cooperation with NCDOT, would add a left turn lane from Air Harbor Road onto Lake Brandt Road, mitigating traffic congestion and adding connectivity for pedestrians.

Information and a map of the project can be viewed on the NCDOT public meeting website.

The open house format meeting is set for Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at Covenant Grace Church, located at 4747 Lake Brandt Road in Greensboro. People can stop by any time during those hours to ask questions of NCDOT representatives and offer input that will be considered as the project develops.

Comments can also be submitted by phone, email or mail by March 1. For more information, contact NCDOT Project Engineer Jennifer Evans at 336-487-0075 or jenniferevans@ncdot.gov.
