DAVIDSON – At the request of the town of Davidson, the N.C. Department of Transportation will provide an update on a proposed project to extend Potts Street to Sloan Street, including the construction of a multiuse trail on Potts Street between N.C. 115 and Griffith Street and a roundabout at the intersection of Sloan and Griffith streets.
The project is intended to improve connectivity and traffic operations while providing a transportation alternative between Cornelius and Davidson.
A drop-in public meeting will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Davidson Town Hall, 216 S. Main St., followed by a formal presentation during the town’s Board of Commissioners meeting.
