New Traffic Signal Coming to Guilford County Intersection

GREENSBORO – A new traffic signal will go into operation for the first time next week in Guilford County.

The signal has been installed at the intersection of Guilford College Road and East Main Street and the future entrance at Grandover Village, where there are currently stop signs for traffic pulling onto Guilford College Road.

Starting Tuesday, the signal will be flashing yellow on Guilford College Road and flashing red from the East Main Street and Grandover Village sides. It is expected to go into full operation on Tuesday, Feb. 19.

The signal will be a part of the City of Greensboro's traffic signal system.

Drivers should be mindful of the new configuration at the intersection and use caution when traveling through the area.
