HIGH POINT – A maintenance project will require the closure of a section of a Davidson County road starting next week.
Abbotts Creek Church Road will close near V V Willard Road to allow N.C. Department of Transportation Bridge Maintenance crews to replace a drainage pipe that was damaged during Hurricane Florence. The closure begins at 8 a.m. on April 1 and is expected to last until the afternoon of May 3.
A signed detour will follow Wallburg-High Point and Mock roads.
Drivers should slow down near the work zone and allow for additional travel time because of the detour.
