LEXINGTON – A section of Riverhouse Road in Davidson County road will remain closed for several weeks while N.C. Department of Transportation bridge maintenance crews repair a damaged drainage pipe.
A section of the road near Linwood-Southmont Road south of Lexington is expected to reopen by May 17. Until then, traffic will be detoured to follow Linwood-Southmont and Riverview roads.
Drivers should use caution near the work zone and plan for extra travel time because of the detour.
