KEANANSVILLE – The N.C. Department of Transportation will close a section of a Duplin County highway for bridge maintenance starting next week.
Both lanes of the bridge on N.C. 50 over Marsh Branch will be closed between 9 a.m. April 29 and 5 p.m. May 10. The bridge is near Faison W. McGowen Road in Keanansville.
Traffic will be detoured onto U.S. 117, Interstate 40 and N.C. 903.
Drivers should anticipate needing extra time and slowing down when approaching the work zone.
