LEXINGTON – Access to an intersection southwest of Lexington will be impacted by construction of a roundabout in Davidson County.
The junction of Belmont and Clyde Fitzgerald roads will close at 8 a.m. on Monday, June 10 and is expected to reopen with a new traffic pattern on or before June 30.
A new roundabout at the location will join Belmont and Clyde Fitzgerald roads with Egger Parkway.
Traffic will be detoured to follow Interstate 85 and N.C. 47 during the closure.
Drivers should slow down near the work zone and plan ahead for extra travel times because of the detour.
