RALEIGH - With the potential for dangerous travel conditions in North Carolina as a result of Hurricane Dorian, there are major changes for this week's scheduled Board of Transportation meeting in Raleigh.
The session scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 4, which primarily included committee meetings, has been canceled.
The time of the board meeting on Thursday, Sept. 5, has been moved from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a majority of board members expected to take part via conference call. Members of the public who would like to attend the meeting may do so in the Board Room of the Highway Building.
