CHARLOTTE – As part of the Graham Street extension project, N.C. Department of Transportation contract crews will close a section of Mallard Creek Road between Mallard Park Drive and Mallard Forest Drive on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
The closure will be in place for three weeks while crews work to connect both ends of Mallard Creek Road to a new alignment. Detours will be in place for drivers coming from Mallard Park Drive and Mallard Forest Drive.
The project includes widening existing Mallard Creek Road from two to four lanes between Harris Boulevard and Morris Estates Drive and building a new alignment to the intersection of Sugar Creek Road and Graham Street.
