RALEIGH — The N.C. Department of Transportation's contractor for the Capital Boulevard bridges project has planned a double-lane closure for this weekend to shift northbound traffic to its final pattern.
On Saturday between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., two of the three lanes will be closed between Lane Street and Wade Avenue.
The closure is weather dependent, with Sunday serving as a backup date if weather impacts the work on Saturday.
This work was scheduled to occur last weekend but could not be completed due to the rain last Friday night.
Drivers should allow extra time and pay extra attention while driving through the work zone
