GREENSBORO – A Guilford County road will be closed for several weeks while N.C. Department of Transportation maintenance crews make a critical repair.
Belvoir Drive closed out of necessity Thursday morning near Wild Oak Lane because the shoulder of the road failed alongside a Forest Oaks Country Club pond.
The closure is tentatively expected to be in place until near the end of May, weather permitting.
A signed detour is in place directing drivers to use Wild Oak Lane, Brookhaven Drive and Ramblewood Drive to access Belvoir Drive on either side of the closure.
Drivers should me mindful of crews working to repair the road and allow a little extra time for the detour.
