CHARLOTTE – N.C. Department of Transportation contract crews tonight will resume work to improve 22 bridges along Interstate 277 in uptown Charlotte, requiring several ramp closures.
Tonight and Tuesday night, crews will close ramps from South Boulevard and Kenilworth Avenue to the outer loop, and from the outer loop to Kenilworth Avenue. The closures will start at 9 p.m. and end by 6 a.m. each morning.
On Wednesday and Thursday nights, crews will close ramps from Clarkson Street to the outer loop and from the outer loop to Carson Boulevard, also from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m..
